This weeks wedding question comes from our loyal reader Leeann,
" Is it necessary for the maid of honor to give a toast at the reception?"
Well Leeann, this is a fabulous question! We here at KDC are not so sure about this one. Sure it is customary and respectful for the maid of honor to give a toast along with the best man, but is it necessary? Maybe it is a matter of opinion! Let's trow this out to our readers and see what they have to say...
So leave us your comments, tell us what you think...

Nice photo!
I have been to wedding where the maid of honor has and hasn't...and with my upcoming maid of honor roll, I am scared! Haha! She'll have 150 guests and I am not a big fan of public speaking. KDC readers: I need your advice!
PS...there are 2 maids of honor and 2 best men...can I at least drag the other maid of honor up there at the same time to give our speeches?
Thanks!!
Leeann,
I think you should ask the other maid of honor if she wants to do the speeches together. Then you won't have to stand up there alone. Who knows maybe you can write something from the both of you and she can give the speech. Keep us posted on how it works out. Good Luck!
Thanks for the advice Steph!
