With very little planning and the encouragement of admirers, I transformed from photo hobbyist to full-fledged photojournalist and it was not part of a pre-planned career path. In fact, I am “forever grateful” to my friends, family and the complete strangers who offered everything from suggestions to forthright pleas that I become a professional photographer.
I never set out to be a "REAL" photographer nor did I anticipate it…my friends and family were definitely more convinced of my abilities than I was!
