So since I was home for a week during the holidays, I realized there is a whole world of TV out there and 90% of it is reality TV. Well I stumbled upon two programs, one on the Style channel the Big Party Plan Off and one on the Lifetime channel Top this Party: Las Vegas.
The Big Party Plan Off poses two party planners to come up with a party theme and present it to the party givers and guest of honor. Then they choose which one they prefer and the losing planner has to help the winner with the party. It was very entertaining and they have some cute ideas.
Top This Party: Las Vegas was a little over the top for me. Seeing that the budget for the party that the planner, Breakfast is his name, was half a million dollars!!! I don’t think I could even fathom where to start with a budget like that! The party giver gave him $100K to get started! Amazing!
So I was wondering if anyone has seen theses programs and what there take is on them! Let us know!

I've found that the concepts are cute but I love the inspiration it gives for another event. I always have pad and pen to write down spin off ideas, while watching the show.
Now Top this, I'm with you on over the top but it comes to catering to your market. ( Ill just consider a move to relocate from philadelphia lol)
Inspiration for other events! Good Idea to keep the pad and paper. I would have to say some of the concepts are super cute.
I loved the one they did for the girl who broke off her engagement. The heven and hell theme was awesome!
I love both of these shows! Unfortunately I seem to always catch the same episodes! It makes me wish I were a planner haha.
I know they come on at shuch random times! I have to always consult my TIVO!!!
